Special Ability/Gift: Kukai is able to repel people from his personal area. He's not able to perform this ability often because it effects Kukai greatly through his illness.
Weapon: A white-bladed katana called Gokusotsu (獄卒). Gokusotsu is the "twin" of Tenkei featuring the same hilt and unbreakable blade. However, Kukai rarely uses his blade.

{{• Appearance
Physical Looks: Kukai is five foot, eight and shares many characteristics with Sakurai, his fraternal twin. He is somewhat thin, but muscular. He keeps his black hair cut to a certain length which is just enough to cover his eyes at times. He also shares Sakurai's sharp stare and yellow eyes. His choice in clothing is form fitting clothes which are usually upper class due to his family status.

General Attitude/Personality: Kukai's personality is very cold, logical, and sharp. He's very formal in his speaking and doesn't like to use nicknames. However, during his childhood, he was very outspoken and fun. Often making up nicknames the first time meeting someone. This side of him is now only seen when he's half asleep. The only thing that has kept with him is his caring attitude. Although he doesn't outwardly show it, he has a deep caring for his sister and her close friends.
Goals: Care for Sakurai without anyone outwardly knowing.
Likes: Taking walks and getting back into training.
Dislikes: Siblings taking advantage over each other.
Bad Habits: His temper is very short and can be cruelly sarcastic.
Fears: Heights.

History: Kukai is the twin of Sakurai Yakumo and the only son of Minori Amamiya and Alexander Yakumo. Upon Alexander's hatred of having a daughter and shunning her, Kukai took over the role of caring for her. He often watched her train unknown by his father. When he turned 12, Kukai started to become ill. It took months to almost a year of suffering before he was diagnosed with Bechet's disease. His personality started to turn cold due to not being able to train and live up to his family's expectations. While he was away at a doctor's visit, all his family except for Sakurai was killed. He learned to live on his own and now came to live at Hokkaido to learn about what happened to his family.
