The Clocktower

Seles felt a familiar energy nearby and started to look around.

Shaking, Keller fell to her knees. Her own arms snaked up, holding her head, "I-It... hurts... Ma-M-Make it stop..." she said, her voice high-pitched, to an almost screaming level.

Seles blinked and jumped down, wings appearing for a second to slow the fall but then faded. "Rashel, what's wrong? what hurts? your head?" she asked, confused. Again Seres stayed oddly quiet.

"Seles..." Keller gasped out, it was all she could summon. She flinched, her eyes closing quickly. Her trembling worsened, her raven-colored hair catching, and sending off flairs of distant moonlight. As quickly as they had closed, her eyes shot open. They were different, even more so then before--- as Keller had changed her eye color to a vibrant orange, with color-contacts. Sparkling sapphire.... That was the color, of her eyes, for the split-moment.

"what?" Seles asked quietly, not to Rashel but as a response to what she had just saw. 'What is going on' ran through her head.

Keller gasped out, in pain. A battle... if you will... was taking place in her jumbled mind. It took everything for Keller to keep conscious hold of her internal mind. 'Let... me out...' A strange, harsh voice rang out, inside of Keller's mind.

Unknown to Seles was the battle in her friend's mind and the fact that Seres was invisibly standing beside her, watching her friend-Rashel-with an odd look.

"NO!" Keller shouted, her voice ringing out, reverberating off the Clocktower, echoing. She fell forwards, now on her hands and knees.

Seles covered her ears for a second from the noise. Seres' image became apparent next to Seles though still a bit transparent. "She causing you trouble?" Seres asked Rashel directly.

'Let me OUT!' The harsh voice, distinctly female, broke through Keller's thoughts. The unknown presence in her head sent a punch-like force at Keller, making her stagger sideways, lightly hitting the Clocktower wall, "Get her... Ge-G-Get her out! I-I-It hurts..." she gasped out.

Seres smirked a little "Carefully sister, you'll make her fall." Seres said. Seles looked at Seres oddly, wondering what she was talking about.

Keller squeezed her eyes shut, her shaking stopping dead. She let out an ear-splitting, high-pitched scream, that again, echoed off the Clocktower. The presence, formerly in Keller's head, faded into vision, beside the raven-haired girl. Ishtar. The unknown presence's name. The girl had red hair, bright, fiery red hair, and vibrant, endless sapphire blue eyes. Ishtar looked to Seres, running a hand through her fiery hair, "Hello... Sister..."

Seles had slapped her hands over her ears when Rashel had screamed.Sisters? Seles blinked.

"Hello Ishtar, long time no see. Which was fortunate until now. You're unfortunately here." Seres said, a forced smile on her pale skinned face. Seres now came out occasionally and depending on her mood she let other's besides Seles see her.

Keller continued to look at the floor, her hair hanging loosely around her. She was still recovering from the mental blows Ishtar had blown.

Ishtar rolled her eyes, her voice even harsher then it was with Keller, "Oh sister, dear, you know you are happy to see me." she said, sarcasm dripping from her voice.

"Oh how could I not be" Seres said, her voice dripping with venom. "I'm ecstatic to the point that you could but it in a subatomic jar." Seres' sapphire blue eyes glowed a color similar to ice blue. Seles went over to Rashel to make sure she was ok.

Ishtar sent a glare at Seres, her eyes a similar color to Seres', "The feelings are mutual," Ishtar said, her voice dangerously pleasant. Keller did not move, not even when feeling the presence of Seles.

"Rashel, come on, you have to snap out of it." Seles whispered

Seres smiled sweetly at her sister. Eyes were closed otherwise they'd be looking at Ishtar with a cold, poisonous stare.

The only sign that Keller was still alive, was a small groan, she produced. Other then said groan, she was silent, still unmoving.

"Oh, come now, dear 'sissy' do you not wish to see me...? Ishtar asked, feigning hurt. Delicately, Ishtar crossed her arms over her chest, her stance rigid.

Seres looked up at her sister, though she was older-like Seles-she was shorter than her sister. She smiled kindly as a sister would. Of course I did...... SHe started to say with that smile but then her face suddenly changed to one of hatred with a sadistic smile not want to see you.

Seles kept bugging Keller, trying to get her to talk.

Ishtar laughed coldly, "You should receive a job in politics, Seres...." Not wavering, Ishtar reached over, and patted Seres' hair, tousling her silver hair, "And I see... still short as over..."

A tremble ran down Keller's spin. Even with Ishtar out of her head, she was, strangely, still in pain. Horrible, tremendous pain. Keller still did not respond to Seles.

Seles figured it was just an after affect from Ishtar leaving Rashel's body sort of. It took a great deal of a spirit's energy to be seen so Ishtar wouldn't have an affect on Rashel while being seen, at least not mentally.

Seres slapped Ishtar's hand away. "You should do something besides drinking to do"

Keller moved, for the first time. Slowly--- trembling, still--- she moved up, to her knees, "Dammit.." she mumbled, her voice dry. She sent a glare at Ishtar, her vivid orange eyes brimming with hatred.

Ishtar ignored Keller's glare, hissing venomously at Seres' slapping her hand away, "And you should loosen up..." she snarled.

"You first" Seres said, glaring back just the same.

Seles sighed and looked at Rashel "you ok?"

Keller shook her head, "No..." she groaned. Carefully, she pressed back against the wall, and slid to a stand.

Ishtar sneered at Seres, glancing over at Keller and Seles. She had forgotten about the other two, until the movement.

"You'll get used to it if she stays" Seles told Rashel.

Seres gave her sister a smirk with eyes that held laughter.
