The Playground

*innertwines fingers with his and smiles*
"I can't promise you that, but sure I'll try my best."

*slightly tightens the hold of her hand*

well at least its a start, that'll give me some relief...

*leans his head over her head*

"So how are you?"

*takes a second for him to realise it*

hmm...oh yeah i've been ok...was better before you started behaving all weird...scared the bajeewees out of me...

*stick hands into her cloak pocket and slides away a little, giggles*
"Im sorry, somthing just happened it was nothing."

*straightens up a bit*

well it was so sudden...just took me off guard...you should have a warn signal you know!

*giggles and shrugs*
"i'm sorry."

*wraps one arm around her neck, pulls her close and give her a noogie*

ah its ok lassi! ^_^ lighten up

*sits quietly on a swing*

Haruko walked quietly into the playground, the hood of her long cloak up over her blond hair as her ice blue eyes studied the seemingly abandoned playground. She sighed, her breath coming out in a white puff, as she leaned her head back to push off her hood. Running her fingers through her hair she sat on the bench on the side of the playground, not even noticing the girl on the swings as of yet.

"Why do i even come to places like this..."

*slowly begins to swing not wearing any jacket but only what is in her signature and sighs staring at the ground*

She looked up at the sound of the girl's sigh, her eyes narrowed slightly as she studied her. Pulling a lighter from one pocket, a cigarette from the other, Haruko stood and walked over to her. Slipping out of her cloak and revealing the long sleeve V neck underneath, she offered it to the girl. Her voice was low and calm.

"You need this more then me."

*shakes head* i don't.
*continues to swing low and slow*

Cocking her head to the side she pulled the cigarette from her lips and crushed it beneath her foot. It wasn't often she smoked, only on her more troubled days did she bother with the stuff. She was just glad she wasn't hooked. She shrugged back into the jacket and the corner of her mouth twitched slightly as her ice blue eyes looked thoughtfully down at her. Today was a strange day; smoking and talking to complete strangers for no apparent reason.

"It may not be my business, it's up to you, but is something wrong?"

*shakes head* no, there isn't, thank you for your concern......

"Don't mention it..."

Her response was almost mumbled as she continued looking at the girl with a slightly curious expression. She didn't really believe everything was fine with her. Haruko lifted her right hand up to point at the swing beside her, the silver bracelets on her wrist clinking slightly.

"Mind if i joined you?"

*nods* have at it. though i should probably tell you. I might bite

Haruko smiled gently at her as she sat down in the swing, laughing lightly as she spoke.

"Can't really say i wouldn't do the same."

Her fingers brushed her blond hair behind her ear s she looked at at the sky, the black dragon tattoo glinting slightly in the little light as it wound up her jaw and onto her cheek. Looking back at the girl, she smiled again.

"Why are you hanging around a playground during the winter if nothings wrong?"

*shrugs* just am....
you?

"Hmm..I don't really know why, actually. Just took a walk and ended up here."

She said honestly; she didn't usually go to places like this. It usually brought up random memories or feelings. Tonight, though, it calmed her. Maybe the cold was getting to her.

*continues to swing and takes hand nibbling on finger* i see.

As she turned her head away, she saw the girl bring her fingers to her lips. It reminded her of her sister, who had the same bad habit once. Without looking at the girl, she leaned her head back, her breath making a white cloud before her face.

"That can make you sick you know."

*looks at her from corner of eye* how kind......your worried about my health.....

Haruko closed her eyes a moment before turning her ice blue gaze on her as she turned her head slightly. She shrugged. It was that or she was just annoyed by the memory it brought up.

"That could be the case, or it may not. Just thought I'd let you know."
