Samantha walked over to the fountain, quietly. Her small dainty little hands lay limp at her side and her lightly blue colored eyes, stay glued to the ground. Slowly she made her way to the edge of the fountain, taking a sit on the edge. She sighed, watching as a large cloud of hair appeared in front of her, disappearing almost as quickly as it came.

Makoto was looking forward to learning more about the city. He came across a fountain and a girl sitting there.
Ah, someone's there...I don't know if I should go talk to her...
Makoto's shyness kicked in.

Samantha looked up, seeing a boy. Bringing her knees up to her chest, she hugged them. "Hello." She said, putting a small smile on her face, though her eyes showed great saddness. "I'm Samantha, are you new?" She asked the boy. Her voice was soft and gentle.

"Uh...yes. I'm rather new to the academy. My name's Makoto Kiyomizu..you can call me Mako i suppose since that's what most people are calling me by..."
*sits shyly next to her*
"Is there anything wrong? Your eyes...show a bit of sadness."

"Ah, well then, welcome to the Academy Mako-San." She said nodding her head once, as a sign of respect. She blinked, and the smile faded slightly. "There is nothing wrong." She said, looking away. "Eh...when did you arrive here?" She asked, trying to change the subject.

"I just got accepted earlier today. I've been in Japan for a while since arriving from Germany. I'm still not yet completely adjusted to the time here." Makoto smiled as he understood he had to respect her privacy.

She smiled "Ah I see." Her ears twitched slightly and her tail hung limply behind her. "You will adjust to it soon enough. How do you like the Academy so far?" She asked looking at him, her head tilted to the side.

Makoto blinked as if dozing off for a moment and said "Oh, i'm sorry. Uh...I love the academy. the people I've met so far are very nice. though, i am a little cautious about meeting the wrong people and end up in a violent blood bath" Makoto smiled a little. "Speaking of which, what about you? what do you think about the academy so far Samantha?"

She nodded, listening attentively. "I see, I'm glad you like it here so far." She blinked, "Me? Oh, I...I suppose I like it." She turned her gaze towards the sky. "The people here are so friendly...most of them atleast. Each person is different from one another...but...the people I have me...are so nice. Their nothing like the people from where I had come from." She blinked, sighing lightly and turning her gaze back to Mako-San. "You seem tired Mako-San. You said you were just accepted earlier today, and that you have been in Japan, correct? If so, why aren't you resting, you should be tired from your long journey here."

"oh no, I think you misconstrued my statement there. I meant, I was here for a few days before I got accepted into the academy. I'm just adjusting to the different timezone and the different cultural aspects here." Makoto changed his gaze a little (he has hard time looking at girls straight into their eyes) as he stated, "I'm sorry to hear that you had a bad time back where you came from...I..don't have a good memory of Germany either. I lost my parents and my sister had persuaded me to move here to Japan so that the loss of our parents wouldn't burden us as much..."

She blinked, a pathetic look falling upon her face. "Ah, yes, I'm sorry." she said, scratching the back of her neck "Your right, I did misunderstand you. Forgive me, I'm not that bright." She sighed. "Ah I see, you too hmm?" She smiled sadly, "I lost my parents aswell...and...I suppose you could say that I lost my brother too." She sighed, twidling with her fingers. "I came here from London. What a sad place to be...after you've lost someone dear. It's always raining...always...raining." She shook her head slowly, shrugging. "It's alright." She gave a small smile "My father used to say...'Do not cry for what is already gone, if you do, your tears will blind you, and you'll lose sight of the things you still have.' " She smiled sadly. "He was right when he said that...I guess."

"I'm sorry to hear that you've gone through the similar pain as I have." Makoto said with a serious face. "Though I'm sure, there are friends here for you who cares about you and loves you dearly as well." Makoto smiled. "Anyways, I have to go now. I think I'm still in need of time adjustment. Take care.."

She nodded "Yes. Good bye then. It was nice making frineds with you Mako-San" She smiled, waving slightly. "I hope to see you soon. Good bye now."

*rides in on her motorcycle, parking it right beside the waterfountain*

With a loud yawn Daisuke woke up, covering his body was a couple of newspapers, and scattered all over the floor were empty bottles of beer. The mid afternoon sun was shining brightly down through the leaves of a tree, blinding him in the process. With a disgruntled groan and a randon spasm in an attempt to remove the light from his eyes he sat up. The sound of people rushign to and fro could be heard from all around the city, but they were distant sounds in comparison to the quite bird chirping, child crying, and couples laughing of the water fountain. With a dazed smile on his face he stood up from the rickety old wooden bench that had acted has his bed for the night. He used it as support as his body gave way for a moment, then after several seconds of regaining his balance, he stood up like a normal human being and began walkin towards the fountain.

His eyes were still adjusting to the bright light now burning down upon him, but he ignored the searing pain and kept following his path. It wasn't straight however, something he just realised, it seemed the ground tended to move side to side, and in some case's, go to a steep drop. In the hangover state that he was in he stopped in the middle of the large courtyard and began swearing at the ground, stamping on it hard, giving it a right telling off. After several more minutes of embarrasing antics, Daiskue moved on towards the fountain once more, but found to his disappointment that the ground was delebaratly not listening to him. With a loud groan, as he scratched the back of his neck he walked up close to the water and plunged his head in, take in large and deep gulps of water. The feeling of the cool liquid running down his parched throat gave him the relief he was looking for.

However another pranks was to be played by the ground, with his sudden remergance from the water he became light headed, and the ground decided to up and throw him into the big pool of water.

"H..he..HEY! AHAAAAAA!"

*see's the guy fall into the fountain*
*yanks off her bike helmet, and jumping into the fountian*
*grabs the guy, and pulls him out of the water*
what the hell were you thinking?

Whilst underwater, Daisuke had a revalation, it was about how he ended up in the pool to begin with. It wasn't the grounds falt, but his lack of balance in his hung over state. With a smile he closed his eyes under the clear liquid and allowed himself to pass on to the other realm, feelign a happy man for uncovering this long dark secert. Alas it wasn't to be, for while he still had breath in his lungs, a pair of hands grabbed him and pulled him above water line, then dragged his soggy ass to the edge of the basin, where he heard a ruptours applause echo to his saviour. He still laiy on his back and looked up at the sky, catching a slight glimpse of his saviour, she was a girl, and she seemed to be telling him off.

A frown happend to flash across his face, surely he should be asked if he was alright rather then getting a scolding. But this is how it was to be, so he opened his mouth and began to speak, tellign the girl how he happend to end up in the water. All that came out was a jet of water that spread out similarly like a fountain, with several children laughing at this spectacle and calling out silly names. Once the water had cleared from his lungs, he stood up and took a deep breath, his arms stretching out to the sky. He looked down on the girl and smiled, then gave a small bow, she had interesting white hair, and had a familiar red tattoo below one of her eyes. With that a sudden flash of memory wiped itself across Daisuke's groggy brain and he remembered the person who first showed him aroudn Hokkaido Acdamey, and showed him his firts death here

"So, you going to kill an old friend to?"

He chuckled loudly as he got out of the water and began drying himself off with a child he found and picked up, using their warm body and clothes to mop up the soaked items on his person,
