The Clocktower

*looks at kami-san* kami-san........what do you.......mean....?

*continues to press for answers*
I mean you seem to have something that is on your mind~ Is it someone important to you?

*frowns* maybe there is. whats that got to do with you?

*smiles I guess your right then* Its none of my concern if its not a concern for you~

*looks at kami* ..............
*smiles softly*

Sitting at the top of the Clock tower, Samantha sighed. It was still quite cold out, and no one was around. It didn't bother her as much though, the snow was there to acompany her. As long as she had the snow, she would have her memories, and with her memories, her fear of being alone would disappear. Momentarily, at least. She looked up at the cloudy sky, blinking, her eyes dull and lifeless. "How very interesting." She said, mainly to herself. "The sky is gray, for there is no sunshine. The clouds are blocking all the light...and yet...it is still...such a beautiful winters day." Samantha smiled, a small crooked smile. It was rare for her to smile, it was rare for her to even show emotion. Although, the snow had that kind of affect on her. It could make her feel emotions she had not felt in a long long time. She blinked, quickly dismissing the smile from her face. Looking around to see if any one had been there to see her smile. Thankfuly, she could see no one in the area, at the moment. She sighed, relieved.

Sighs lightly, her ears twitching lightly. It had been a while since she had been in her half form. It felt...somewhat odd. Swishing her tail, ever so slightly, she began to hum. Closing her eyes she continued humming, feeling the wind as it blew by. She could feel her wrists pulsing and her nody growing light. She felt as if she could do anything. Anything at all. Even fly, if she could, she would fly all the way back home, just to see her brother.
She doubted that he would be happy to see her, though. He might not even notice she had come back. It did not matter though, she missed him, more than anything. She sighed, writing a letter to her brother, in her head.

My dearest brother,
Today was a fairly fine day. Many students have been intimidated by the snow. They do not come unless they are wearing an extra amount of clothing. Do you not find that odd? They misunnderstand the snow. They think of it as dangerous and unsafe. That isn't true though, is it? We grew up in the snow, I suppose that is why we are not affected, as much as they are.
I miss you brother. I really do. Please, if you ever have the time, write to me. The hope of hearing from you, someday, is the only thing that keeps me going. I must be going now. God speed to you, in everything you shall be doing.
Goodbye dear brother.

She sighed, opening her eyes again. She made a mental note, to write that all down, once she found a pen and paper. Looking off into the distance she blinked, a single tear rolling down her cheek. "Brother..."

Kairai appeared inside the clock tower, looking outside, his face emotionless again. This place brougt him peace, and so he desired. He needed to feel calm for once in a while. Kairai sat on the floor in a meditation pose and closed his eyes, relaxing.

Feeling no better than before, he mentally rolled his eyes and teleported.

*leads zenna up*

Zenna looked around the town as she was lead to the clocktower. When Shinjou led her upwards she couldn't wait to see the view.

*leads her up the stairs into a room and over to the window and smiles* please, sit
*stays standing, smiling at her*

Zenna looked around the room as they arrived and then sat near the window when he told her to sit.

*sets beside her and smiles looking out the window* it's such a nice view isn't it?

Zenna nodded as he sat beside her. "Yes," she said looking out the window with interest. "This is a perfect view, I can see everything." Zenna felt like a kid again. Just like that first time she'd gone with her mother and brother to the amusement park when she was really small. Zenna grinned at the memory. "Where ya from," she asked.

*blinks* where......am......i from?
*scratches back of head* i dont really remember.....

Zenna felt as though she'd made a mistake. She gave a small sigh. "That's fine," she said. She felt sorry that she'd even asked. "Do you come here often?"

*nods* yes i do.
*smiles* it calms me
oh and the thing about where im from, dont worry about it. I didn't like most of my family anyway. they outcasted my brother who is very dear to me.

Zenna felt sorry for Shinjou. She wanted to give him a hug but she didn't know him that well. "I can see why a place like this would calm someone. So many views," she said. "So many places to see and explore, I love coming out to the town itself."

*nods in agreement and takes out a cigarette and looks at her taking her into consideration* you dont mind do you?

Zenna shook her head. "No," she said. "I don't mind," she said. She wondered how old he was since he was smoking. Then again, did it matter. She shrugged and continued to star out the window.

*smiles* thank you
*laces the cigarette in mouth and lights it up and looks at her* if it bothers you just let me know. I'll put it out right away.

Zenna shrugs and turns in her seat. "I doubt it will," she said as she pulled her hand through her hair and then pulled the sides of her hat so it was adjusted properly.

*smiles* well if it's ok with you, may i ask how old are you?

Zenna couldn't help but grin slightly at this. She'd been meaning to ask him the same only a few minutes ago. "I'm fifteen," she said. "And you?"
