When Cortese and her twin sister, Vatalia Davanti, combine their two elements they create a unique ability. Because of their strong connection the sisters can create a water-like liquid which burns anyone or anything if they will it to be so.

What is there beyond the night? There are times filled with anxiety
General Attitude/Personality: Cortese is very quiet, but tries to be kind when she does decide to speak. Having anemia, she tries to distance herself from people who may cause her stress. She is very attentive and pays attention to her surroundings. She has an innocent nature which leads her to trusting the wrong people, but she is set back on the right course by her younger twin, Vatalia.
Goals: To live happily with the people she loves the most.
Likes: Theatrical productions, reading, baking, writing (Stories, Poetry, etc.) calm winds, small animals
Dislikes: People who try to deceive her, passing out, strong sunlight.
Bad Habits: She can over-trust people, keeping people at a distance.
Fears: Losing Vatalia, not being loved.

History: Cortese was born with a younger twin, Vatalia, in an upper middle-class family in Italy. She was much quieter than Vatalia, and very easily hurt, which made her seem younger. Before being diagnosed with Anemia, Vatalia often kept Cortese at a distance, but afterwards, they realized how close they really were. They realized later in life that their parents would try to buy their love instead of spending time with them. This made Vatalia and Cortese become very reliant on each other. They ran away to Hokkaido to escape their uninterested parents, and now spend their time with each other, searching for a better life then they had.
